For some, their homes is considered to be a status symbol. However, due to the intense competition for jobs and opportunities, more so amidst this Covid-19 pandemic, the real estate prices, rent and lease rates are also increasing, making it hard for young professionals to afford their own homes. 

But despite the price increase in traditional real estate, there is also a rise for Container Van Homes. Container Van Homes are up-cycled (or even brand-new) shipping containers that is altered and designed to be an alternative to traditional house and lots. And we, here in Contemporary Container Home & Living is here to share with you tips and tricks on how to start your own container homes or make your existing container homes feel more beautiful and homey. 

Before we go in-depth, I would like to first introduce myself, I am Santos Y. Autencio III. Yes, you might be curious… “Santos” is my first name and “Autencio” is my last name. But, to not confuse you, you may just call me Santos. I am a registered real estate broker, race car driver, plant collector, friend, brother, and son. 

This website is about promoting and empowering the use of Container Van Homes. From sharing news and information, tips and tricks about home design, new developments with regards to container homes, and many more! This website is also geared towards building a community of container home enthusiasts to share their thoughts and opinions, ideas, tips and tricks, and many more! All of which is centered towards making Container Van Homes the future for real estate. 

Aside from creating an inclusive community of Container Van Home enthusiasts. This website is also about teaching and sharing with everyone the benefit of container homes; not just for the homeowner, but also for the environment. According to Kleinman Center for Energy Policy, the real estate industry contributes to 30% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. Hence, we together as a family of container van enthusiasts can uplift the use of container homes and promote sustainable development and green building. Lastly, we here in Contemporary Container Home & Living believe that we can change the perception of our readers about traditional house and lots, furthermore, lead them into influencing other people to be with the cause. 

In this website, we would talk about topics more in-depth and with more detail.
